A quick pānui to let you know that, with the approval of the committee, we purchased a new sound box for the group.
The urgency for the purchase was to use it for the mihi and waiata tautoko this Friday for the Remarkable Theatre event opening.
The sound box is a Blue Ant X5, and is powered by rechargeable battery, allows two inputs (microphones and/or guitar) so it will be perfect for any group performances outdoors.
Also, this sound box is available to be used by members for any use (personal use included). So now that we have it, we may as well put it to use. Obviously group events take priority 😀
